Sewing Plans for May 2021

April was an amazing month.  I doubt I will be able to make as many items this month.  There's a few things going on this month.  First off...It's May.  Month 5 of 12! This has been a tough year but I pray it gets better.

Let's start with my Goals for May:

-Participate in Me Made May.  I would like to wear one Me Made garment per day.

-Make 70% of my projects with fabric from my stash

-From May 3rd to the 7th, I am going to attend the Sewing Summit sponsored by Rebecca Page Patterns.  This will be my first time attending a sewing related event.  I am super excited!!!!  So the first two weeks of May I plan on working on the projects from the summit.

-Continue to practice necklines in knit garments

-Participate in one sewalong

I've narrowed down my Sewing Plans to 4 patterns.

1. Annelaine Lakeside Dress

2. Blackwood Cardigan for myself.  Last month, I made three for my mom

3. New Look 6669

4.  Simplicity 9048

I have three backup garments just in case

1. A pair of shorts, Maybe the Piper Shorts or Myrtle Shorts both by Mood.  We will see

2. Simplicity 9259

3. McCall 7922
