Screenshot Frenzy Friday
October 27, 2017
It's officially Friday and I have some great screenshots to share with you!

It officially feels like Fall here in South Florida.  I am excited because I'm finally getting a chance to wear some of the garments I made for this Fall.   Woohoo!!!

This week I finally had some time to get some sewing in.  I stopped by Joann's and picked up some great patterns from Simplicity's and Vogue's new pattern release.

Do you remember this top from last week's Screenshot Frenzy?

I found A pattern that is almost perfect for achieving this Look.
Trend patterns:

Heidi Klum Season 16 Project Runway top is fire! And that's not only because it is red!

Rosewe Lantern Sleeve Back Slit Sheath Dress.  This sheath had beautiful lantern sleeves which falls perfectly into the Year of the  Sleeve these

BeyoncĂ© is wearing this dress!  This emerald dress is from the Walter Collection.  This dress is also available in blue.

Calvin Klein Cable Knit Dress.  Achieve this look with McCall 7016.

I love the fabric used to make this dress.  Look very closely. This dress is achievable with Simplicity pattern 8330

I am in love with gingham and I think the world is too.  This suit is hot!

I love both of their looks!  Did I mention these two young ladies have beautiful voices.

This dress is so beautiful!  I love the vibrant fabric and the hem has such volume.  Absolutely gorgeous!!

Rosewe offers another  great top!

Midi Dress.  Pattern Hack Simplicity 8379 and or McCall 7441 for this cute Midi dress.

This dress had a great hem and sleeve and the Ankara fabric makes this dress pop!

I think I am going to try to make this dress.  I love how the hem in the back dips.

My Screenshot Frenzy favorite Look of the week is :

This is simple top and maxi skirt  but it'sthe fabric choice is spot on!  Where can I find this fabric!

I have quite a few projects complete but I haven't found the opportunity to take photos.  I will get on that and update you on Fall Sewing Plan.

Have a terrific weekend.

Screenshot Frenzy Friday

It's that time of the week again!  Friday!   I can't believe this week is already over. This week Running N' Style announced the Little Red Dress Challenge.  This challenge is hosted  by Running N Style and Rosa of Sewn.  Last year I made a red dress but I forgot to tag it in the challenge.   You can check out my red dress here.  I am determined to make a Little Red Dress this year.  The reveal date is a between December 17 and December 24th.  If you would like to join in on this challenge please check out Running N Style's YouTube page for more details.  I think I have the perfect fabric to make my little dress.  Unfortunately, I have not purchased the pattern that I have in mind.  So that step is on my to do list.  I am waiting to purchase this pattern during the next pattern sale.

I can't wait for you to see what I found this week.  I hope my previous screenshots posts have inspired you to create something fabulous!  It would be cool to see what you created.  Feel free to shot me an email of any of your makes inspired by Screenshot Fridays.

Rotita offers this gorgeous long sleeve dress with a peplum waist and a bow. I love The pleats in the peplum and the high low effect.

Here's another dress from Rotita.  This body on dress has killer sleeves.  This is a great look for the year of sleeves.  This printed fabric is gorgeous.
Venus has this great dress with an asymmetric hem and side ruching.

I love the print of this set from Rue 17.  I can't decide which I love the most the skirt or pants.

Look at the vibrant colors.  I absolutely love floral print.   The hem of the skirt is dress is like a tulip upside down.  This dress is gorgeous!  You can find this dress at Dresswe.com

Eloquii offers many different stylish looks.  This is no exception and this look can be a day and night look.  the top has a great asymmetric hem.  You can wear this look with cute flats or sexy heels.

Style Castor has this cute one-shoulder top with large sleeves.  I would love to create this look.

One shoulder is hot but the cascading ruffle is brilliant. Love! Love! Love!

Rosewe is another great site for inspiration.  This jumpsuit has a train.  Who would have thunk it!

Do you remember Simplicity 8379?  If so, here is my version.  Simplicity 8379 would be a great start to creating this look.

Link She offers a high waist skirt with a high slit and a strapless top.  Super cute!  This look makes me want to go on vacation.

My favorite screenshot frenzy look is:
These two dresses are absolutely hot!!!!!

Screenshot Frenzy Friday

I'm back with another Screenshot Frenzy Friday!

Sometimeswhen I shop for clothes, I want something simple but dramatic.  This dress is it.  Simple style but dramatic sleeve.  AND  denim.  I am in love.  You can't go wrong with this dress.

This dress is hot!  It's a ribbed sweater knit dress with gold buttons.  This dress reminds me of Mimi G's Simplicity 8334

Oh LaLa.  This is a Back Zipper Peplum.  I am in love with the sleeves!

This blouse from TBdress is hot!  I would love a pattern to make this top.

This pink  dress above is a Vogue pattern by Issac Mizrahi.  Vogue 1434

Great party dress here!

I love this dress. The handkerchief hem is one of my favorite looks.

I love Eloquii.  Eloquii is a clothing company that sells garments for the plus size Ladies, like myself.  This blazer is killer.  The neck tie with peplum makes this blazer a head turner.

Floral Crepe Blazer-Another one from Eloquii.  Floral prints are a must have and have a floral print blazer is a game changer.

Eloquii!!!  Blazer with killer sleeves.  This blazer can be worn with jeans, a skirt, or slacks.

Eloquii--  They are changing the face of the basic blazer.  This blazer has sleeve ties.  This blazer is similar to Lekala 4542.  Add sleeve ties and you're good to go!

I hope you're inspired by at least one of these looks.

Have a great weekend! Happy Sewing!!!
